Hence why my initial suggestion to go with a 16 inch chf barrel from a reputable make like dd, or bcm, i think even fn has a 16 inch chf barrel now. Many excellent options.

I have a FN CHF barrel on my competition rifle. It's a GREAT barrel. Hard to come by though...
IBI makes Myers/Steacy profile barrels in 19" and 16". Ryan has done a ton of testing and development to come up with what he believes is the most accurate AR profile. Again, he's used a 19" M/S barrel to win his last 4 National Championships. Not sure what he was shooting for his first one.

I suspect so. I copied diemaco/colt canadas homework for my running gear. 20 inch barrel, rifle length gas. F/A bolt carrier group. H2 buffer.
I'm excited to put it together.
