Anybody heard anything about that platform?

I've seen ads about what looks like an AR non restricted rifle in 223 rem. Or 556!

Nothing on the website on the rifle per see !

Looks like it's a MacDef Receiver set assembled into a functioning rifle by some guys and named the MAR-17. I like Charlene better...

They are MDI SLI-based rifles. I asked them if they would sell stripped receiver sets and they replied they couldn't, for "insurance reasons" whatever that means.
