I am interested in putting a marbles tang sight on my marlin1897 texan 22, 2002 model. whitch sight should I order to fit my gun and what height front sight to match , is there any gunsmithing that needs to be done to mount the tang sight ? drilling screw holes etc.? Brownells list one sight # to fit my gun and marbles lists another sight # , I don't want to order the wrong sight and have to exchange it . Is there any where in canada that I can order the sight ?
