March 8th will be the next m14 support group meeting, here in surrey.
The first 6 spots will be reserved for regular attendees, the last 6 spots will be open to first come first served. I'll add your name to the list below once i have a p.m. from you confirming your attendance. spots 13 and 14 are reserved for the gurus such as Skullboy, Lazerus2000 ect :D

I just picked up a copy of Kuhnhausen's M14/M1 Garand Shop Manual off of EBAY. I'll bring it to the next meeting, if I come, and maybe, if you are all good little boys and girls, leave it with Thomas, so you can all memorise for the following sessions.

the popularity of this event has superceded my expectations. I have no problem adding more people, it's just that we are doing this in my house... so space is a consideration. So.... I have an idea.... I will add a couple more spots to accomodate rommelrommel, millwright and misanthropist... because you guys have all missed previous meetings and I know you have been itchin to attend.
But... that's it. next one will be in April after my stateside trip.

I don't think I'll be able to make this one either:( it sucks not being able to go. I'm on vacation at the end of the month and it's messing up my weekends with my kids so I don't think I can make it. But if some slight chance I can make it I'll send Tom a PM and see if I can crash the party:runaway:
 
Too bad Katana. When you get back from vacation I'll have to take you up on your offer and shoot at your local range.:)
 
The overwelming number of P.M.'s I have gotten since i started this monthly meeting we refer to as the West Coast M14 Support Group, has really surprised me. We have a lot of local norinco m14s owners that's for sure.... and a few guys willing to travel from outside the lowermainland as well.

While I want to try to accomodate everyone.... I also want to cater to the guys who want to show up everytime. It is turning into more than just a "meeting" and that is pretty cool. All possible for one reason only, the CGN community, it's mods and Admins. I would like to see this event grow and maintain it's monthly meetings. Great times to be had, great friends to be made...... bambi burgers..... rifle tinkerin..... :D .

On that note, I am open to ideas on moving the event to a larger venue to allow higher attendance, but we will begin to incurr costs in doing that.
As the weather warms into spring and summer I would like to organize a range day.... so if anyone can hook us up with a m14s friendly range.... that we could book for a day or 1/2 day..... please message me and we can work on it.

If anyone has any contacts for getting ballcaps or tshirts made.... I'll put my son to work on drawing up a very cool logo ;)

Also, I do have a buddy that is a silk screener so give me a call and we'll see what can be arranged
 
I know another guy that works for a company that does window stickers.... bumper stickers.... and another guy that does hats and embroidery at his work...... hmmmmm time to start emailing some folks ;)
 
I could probably make the April one if you are in fact running it! (Waitin' for the Ice and cold to clear the Coq so I can ride the bike).
