mares leg ammo 45 LC

hey i am wondering what factory ammo would you suggest shooting in a Chiappa mares leg in 45 LC? dont want to reload for it right away. but with that said, what bullets would you recommend to reload for this particular rifle? planning on using IMR 4227 as thats whats available to me at the moment. thanks!

"...dont want to reload for it right away..." You'll have to try a box of as many brands and bullet weights as you can.
"...recommend to reload..." Doubt there are enough of 'em around for that. Maybe though. It doesn't really have a target shooting purpose other than 'I want one'. That's reason enough to buy one, of course.
