MARK II-BV

I have ordered a Savage MARK II-BV from SIR for 350 all tax and S&H included.
How you guys rate this rifle?

I am not into rimfire, and wonder if I have to 'break' the barrel same way like centrefire?

Is this rifle made in Lakefield?

Is trigger adjustable or lite enough?

best trigger replacement i have heard of and a must if you dont want to play with shimming like sugested on Rimfirecentral.
otherwise excellent rifle

no break in required; did a review a while back on it on this forum. fantastic rifle but the trigger is complete piese of crap; tried the shimming but it didn't work for me. still love it though, excellnt workmanship, looks quality etc.

I think, I would have to get after market triger for that rifle.

So far I hear only good things and what is really good about
that little shooter the price. 150 buck less then CZ Brno.

Try the trigger job before buying the rifle basix. Also you might try replacing the spring with a pen spring. The mods aren't that hard and are totaly reversable. Just make sure its safe.
