I just need to clairify something here:

Is this a Remington Model 700P?

This one's weird, it looks like the rifle has a charging handle like a M16:

I also remember seeing some G36's, M4's and a Barrett.

Oh and in case anybody's wondering:

That is not a charging handle in the last pic.He is cleaning the rifle and that is a cleaning rod....................;)

Longshot will tell you exactly what that rifle is, but to me it looks like a Rem700P with a Leupold MK4 16X scope.

It's for sure a 700P with MK4 16x power scope. The second rifle is an EDM Windrunner. Man, those Windrunners are ###y, huh? I'd love to own one.
 
Hey, isn't that a KNOCKOFF Kommunist Leupold Mark4 M1 LR/T 3.5 x 10 x40mm on his M700P ? I should know I've got 2 of them since my kid started at Queer's University in Kingston with all the other tree hugging, granola crunchers.... LOL

Definately a cleaning rod there. I think they cut out that scene though; heck, I think there was only one seen where he was holding a black 700P.

I am not so sure it's a cleaning rod. I think they might have had a photo with him and an M4, then cropped in a Remington 700 instead. The reason why I'm not satisfied with the cleaning rod conclusion is because he's not holding the rifle with either hand. whatever...

That's definately not a charging handle. And I really have no idea why they would crop in a 700P in a production photo. I know he's not holding anything, and I'm not sure why that is, but that is most definately a cleaning rod.

EDM Windrunner i'm not sure.
i at first thought it was a windrunner as well. maybe they are the same thing, because they highly resemble eachother, but the movie rifle looks more like a CheyTac.
 
The kid saw the movie thee other day, I'll ask him about it.
Myself, I think the rifle is in a vise and he's cleaning it.
His hand looks like it is around a "T" handle cleaning rod.
Not that I really care, I just woke up and didn't realize I was answering a post that is no technical help to anybody, no historical help, the pic is from a movie, hardly reality!:cool:

damn, too bad you couldn't have kept them, that would've been handy for other shoots too. (thinking sniper match and playing a nasty on someone).
