Market for Kar98k and M1 Garand

Hi everyone. I'm looking to buy an M1 Garand with 30-06 cartridge and a Kar98k as two of my first purchases. Does anyone know the current market around those two rifles?

I have seen 1945 M1 Grand listed at ~$3,500 on market and non-matching, non-RC, and pre-WWII Kar98k listed at ~$2,500. Are these fair prices? Seems a bit high for me.

Do your research on what things are selling for . prices are very high nowadays . too high as far as I'm concerned .
