Marking Milsurps

Hey guys,

I recently purchased a K98 and the markings are white, I have seen this on many milsurps as a way of making the markings more visible and I would like to do this with my Mosins etc... I was wondering whats the best way to do this that isnt permanent?

Grease pencil or white out. It's a peace time army quirk.

liquid paper, and then just wipe off the excess with a damp cloth.
