I just got this rifle from a member here recently. I found there some marks on the upper band. The guy told me there were re-enforcements but for me it more looks like arsenal repairs. Can anyone tell me what it is?
If its a square or rectangle of different color wood it's just an arsenal repair witch is quite common. It's probably because the Russians only replaced the stocks and just fixed the handguards
