I was rooting around in the back of the gun safe and found a rifle I had never seen before. I inherited a bunch of rifles probably 20 years ago and never paid much attention to them. I thought they were all .22s. This one break action rifle had only 'Marla' and Hungary' stamped on its barrel. I googled 'Marla' and found out Trump had an ex-wife named Marla and shes apparently quite a dancer but I digress. When I googled 'Marla rifle Hungary' I still got lots of hits about the ex but also a few hits about the rifle. There was not much info about it though.

Does anybody in the know on this forum have any info about this rifle? Any specs? Does it need a PAL?

70s era. When new it was close to the 500fps mark, so prolly not there now. Value is low, at around $100 or so in good shape. They shoot pretty good.

I own a Marla. Mine is 545 FPS once I cleaned it out and oiled it after forty years of sitting. It is a hard hitting pellet rifle. The were sold in Canadian Tire in the 70's. One of the most accurate iron sights pellet guns I own. 30ft I can cover 15 shots with a quarter. Possible I have a slight desieling going on as I used gun grease on spring I had here at the house for powder burners. It shoots smoother than any of my springers. Adjustable trigger and no spring jump as their is only a deep thud at the end. To bad I lost the round hoop on the front site. Been shooting the Marla just this past week. Have about 300 shots through it and still the very same speed. CHEERS!
