Marlin 1893 .38-55 Takedown Questions

Does anyone have i idea on the collectors market for these rifles. There is one available locally that i curious about.

It is in functional but rouph shape. Damaged Stock, worn looking steel etc.

Features a Octagon barrel. Full length tubular mag. Takedown model. .38-55

Any potential value here?

I know of one person who collects Marlin firearms but the only ones that interest him are those in virtually factory new condition. I think the one that you are describing would be worth marginally more at best as a collectible. In other words no real collectible value
