Marlin 1893 odd caliber - .32 HPS - ???

Looking at a Marlin Model 1893 antique SRC in a shop yesterday. The caliber is unknown to me - .32 HPS. What is that??????

32 HPS is 32 Winchester Special. They marked them as "HPS" (stood for High Power Special I believe) becuase they did not want Winchester's name (their main competitor) on their rifles.

The ammo's readily available as well, a good deer caliber, very similar to .30-30 in performance.

I thought it might be 32 Win Special but I was just guessing.
