I believe there was a bit of discussion about this around here the last few weeks. The consensus I gathered was that the rifles manufactured within the last year seem to be of better fit / finish and overall better quality. Although there still appears to be the odd lemon escaping Remlin's Q/C the best bet has been to familiarize yourself with the s/n date codes to find the newest production possible and don't purchase without being able to put your own hands on it .Give it your own inspection ...Check that the sights are straight and the action is satisfactory . Its a good idea to bring some snapcaps or dummy rounds along to be certain that they will cycle through the action and check the bore as there have been reports of a few with very poor rifling.
But over most of this i s other people's ecperience. Some reviews have been very positive.
Or you could always hold out for a older model in good condition .
I purchased a new xt mag and although a cheep rimfire bolt gun it shoots incredibly well with overall good fit and finish. After a trigger adjustment and a good clean n lube I'm quite impressed with my little Remlin. So if mine is any indication of what is being produced I think things may be changing ...
