I remember a bunch of people looking for these things... I was at SIR today.. they have 14!($709)

I also had a gander at the Marlin 336 XLR.

Kinda funny looking with the longer barrel. NICE laminate stock though. The new Hornady LEVERevolution 30-30 ammo is pretty neat, I need a few boxes of these! ($17/box) I'll be using these for the CGN MB Gong contest.

I am wondering if you could get a laminate stock set from marlin for their "standard" levers.. the GS would be HOT with a set...

do they have the stainless 45-70 in stock with the 24" tube and laminate?

I think they only have the 336 at this time. I'd give them a call though.

Just called Wholesale Sports..they have ONE in 30-30...and have no idea when the 45-70's will arrive...
