Marlin 1895 Peep Sight

I want to put on peep sight using the drilled and tapped screws on the back of the reciever any suggestions on make and type? Has anyone used Skinner Sights? The gun's will primarily use will be hunting.

I put a williams WGRS on my 336. Very nice, real happy with it. I had to put a taller front sight on as well.
I bought it from Western gun parts in Edmonton. No complaints.

I've got a Williams rear peep sight I am not using. It was on my guide gun before I put on an XS rail ,PM me if you want to haggle over it.

I've got the XS "winged" ghost ring set on mine. Super fast to get on target (bear) but you ain't going to win any accuracy competitions with them.

Speed trumps accuracy in ths application.

I have put skinner sights on all four of my Marlins. Personal opinion is that they really compliment the rifles and are of excellent quality. I would highly recommend them. They are a lot nicer looking than the the Williams alternative. I did have to buy a taller front sight for my 1894 which can also be purchased from Skinners.
