I have a Marlin 1895CB (cowboy) and I really want to get a strap on it. The things weighs about 8 pounds dry, and it gets a little much to carry for long durations. I was wondering if anyone knows where to purchase or who makes a front sling mount for this rifle? I cant find one anywhere.
The Uncle Mikes ones are good, but unfortunatly it doesnt appear that they make one for hte 45/70 magazine tube?
If anyone can give me some advice, I would greatly appreciate it. Or if you have pics of your 1895CB sling set-ups that would be even better.
