Marlin 1895GS Sloppy trigger

Is there a way to fix the trigger slop with out replacing the trigger assembly in a Marlin 1895GS?

Mine has the Happy Trigger installed, and there is NO slop. Very nice crisp trigger!

Wild West Guns in Alaska make a 1 piece trigger/sear unit that eliminates the trigger slop, it is called the "Bear Proof Trigger", I believe Corlane Shooting Supplies in Dawson Creek BC carries their parts.
