Hey I have been shooting my who with ghost ring sights for a little while and wondering if anyone knows if the skinner peep site apeture screws into my xs sight. I am asking cause I wear glasses and I can focus on target and front sight is fuzzy or front sight is clear and target is fuzzy depending on if I am wearing my glasses or not. Would like to see if a actual peep site works better or not before scoping the gun. Would like to retain the xs rail if possible for this reason as well.

By the way not looking to reach out super far distance. Having issue focusing at 100yds. Stupid stupid eyes!!!

Thanks

If you already have a rear ghost ring with the internal threads, then yes the Skinner apertures with fit. I believe he threads them 12-40, but the 7/32-40 XS threads fit them fine.

If you don't have the threaded rear ghost ring, you can purchase just the stem of the sight with the threads included.

With regards to the focusing on either the front sight or the target causing the other to be blurry, isn't that normal?

Maybe I'm missing something.

Focusing on target or sight causing other to be fuzzy is normal but it switches on me depending if I am wearing glasses or not, thanks for info on aperture

I am having the same problem with my eyes. I really like iron sights so I upgraded the buckhorn on my GBL to Skinners in an attempt to gain a better sight picture.
They are very nice sights but sadly this did not work for me so to a scope I go. Which really sucks because I'm not fond of scoped levers, seems sacrilegious some how. Joys of getting old.
I hope it works for you, fight age to the death!

Throw some tape on it and poke a progressively larger hole untill it works for you then order accordingly.

Thanks for the tip, that is such a simple thing to do it should have been pretty obvious thing to try. But went right over my head.

thanks
