Marlin 27s converted to 38 special

hey guys a friend want to convert marlin rifle caliber 3220 or 25 rim to shoot 38 special, is this possible.....any info appreciated....thanks....age

If his Marlin is in good shape, he could probably sell and have money left over for ammo and buy any of the new levers in 357 and shoot 38 special if he wanted.

If it's a working .32-20 he'd have no trouble selling it to CAS shooters. If it's a .25 rimfire, it's likely worth too much to do anything to.
Either way, it'd be a major job involving the barrel, mag, bolt and it still may not wok due to the size difference between the cases.
