marlin 336 receiver plug screws

I've taken off the rail that the rifle came with and I need the screws to cover the four receiver holes. Any idea where to find them ?

Our Lordco has a kit with all sorts of small screws.
Not sure if they had the flat screwdriver head slot style or not.

Canadian Tire at one time had bulk bins of lots of odd and sods.
Check their automotive section as well.

Home Depot could be another source to search.
They have bulk bins of kibbles and bits too.

You have a gun shop around?
They usually have a junk box.

Are they 6-48 or 8-40?

Marlin use 8-40. Skinnersights.com sells them for not too much but shipping will kill you.
