Just purchased a brand new marlin 336w and it seems the trigger has about a half inch of play forward whether or not the hammer is cocked. Is this normal? Other than that fit and finish seems fine. Thanks for the help.
Mine isn't half and inch. Maybe a quarter. Mine is also brand new, not yet fired ( ). I have also seen another 336 that had this "issue" it fired fine and that gun was the reason why I bought mine.
