Just getting ready to start loading for a Marlin 1894 357 and looking for some advice on a good mid-level load. Do the Campro 158 work well with this rifle? What’s a good powder to start with? I’d like to use 2400 but can’t seem to find it locally.

The Campro 158grain bullets will work fine. Buy them from the ProjectileKing.com

Midrange, medium powder loads begins the question of fast burning economical low throw-weight powder vs slower, more powder use powders.
There are recipes for both in abundance.
Perhaps you can post what you want to achieve, what powders you have on hand, or your powder choices?

Thanks for all the info so far. I think my best option is to use H110 for most of my loads as it seems to be an accurate and easy to find powder. I’ll also get a faster powder to use for light loads. All my reloading is with rifles now so the only powder I have that would work is trail boss for light loads.
