Don't know if anyone is looking for one of these beauties, SIR has them for $459.99. After looking to replace the one I so foolishly sold (no offence Matty, LOL) this was the best price by far that I could find. They had 6 left in stock, after today. Anyways, thought I'd pass it along, always someone looking for one in EE.

SIR's is the best price around from what I've seen for a new one. I intend to have a 39A as my first rifle, but I'd much rather have an old one (50s-60s). Been keeping an eye out for them to pop up ever since the '58 I missed out on because I was still waiting for my PAL.

I bought my first rifle, a 39A from SIR in 1958 for around $125.00. Should have traded it for a Winchester Model 52 in 1972(or so). In 1987 I traded it for a Browning Auto 5 Mag, which I had reconditioned and sold for $600.00.
Shot a lot of gophers with it but eventullay it lost out to bolt actions.
