Anyone bought one recently? Have the issues of poor QC been put to rest finally? Found a new one for a good price but still worried ill get a lemon. The store owner claims all the issues have been resolved a few years back but again I prefer look to here for honest answers. Thanks for any input!

I just bought one from Wanstalls, I had the rep check it for me and send me pictures of it before I bought it, and fit and finish was perfect. He stated that all the new Marlins they have received have not had the quality control issues as before

Well after looking at 3 from the store found one that was flawless. Other 2 had tilted front sight. Anyone bother with limb saver on these? Plan on shooting hot loads more of then than not. Came with decelerator pad but not sure how these compare to the limb savers.

The new ones are very good quality from what I've seen just as good as any Sbl with a JM stamp,and I've owned a jm stamped sbl.My new 2019 sbl is smooth ,fit and finish is near perfect,sights are straight,lever rail also perfect .no extra dovetails milled into the barrel.etc,they look to be back on track with quality.
