I picked up a gun the other day I never saw before. It's a nice 57M levermatic .22 magnum. Works great, shoots good. I found out they were manufactured for 10 years only, between 1959 and 69 and some were aluminum receivers and some were steel. This one is a steel receiver gun, so it's the better of the two from what I read, but that's about all I know about them. Not sure if I'm keeping it or moving it along. I'm more of a milsurp guy than a "commercial manufactured"rifle owner. Does anyone have any idea of what these guns are worth? I'll have to snap a few pics of it and post them tomorrow if anyone wants to see some pics.

There are a couple of the model 56 guns in 22 on the EE. They are not the magnum versions and are going for $400.00. These guns have been for sale for quite some time now so interest in them isn't very good. You might be more fortunate as guys seem to like 22 mags in a lever gun. FS

Well, I guess I won't be posting photos of it now. I had a local fella drop in and he offered me enough that I had no choice but to sell it to him. :D I also had several GunNutzers interested in acquiring it as well. I think that was the first gun I ever owned that I never had to even advertised to sell it.
