Marlin 60 on TV

I was watching Swamp People on TV, HIstory or Discovery can't remember, and an alligator hunter was using it to finish off gators before landing them. One giant gator needed 15 shots, whew! He was saying one shot on a quarter-sized spot is all it takes...yeah right! Try hitting that sweet spot on a wiggling snapping angry gator!

I love my Marlin 60 even more now.

I love that show but it drives me nuts how every time they shoot a gator it seems like they show clips from 5 or 6 different kills. Anyone else notice how the guy seems to have a different gun and sometimes a different shirt every time the camera pans back to the shooter? Pretty sure sometimes the scene starts with a 12 foot gator then shows the kill shot on a 5 footer.

Yeah. TV/Movie producers know that there are relatively few of us GunNutz who would watch and critique their shows. They definitely rate a big "fail" technically.

Sorta like watching WWII movies and the Garands do not recoil at all.
