Just wondering if any one on hear has built up a Marlin semi auto into a tack driver , I love my 70 scoped with a 4X32 It's 1"groups all day long at 100yrds , so just wondering if there is any Barrells ,stocks, modafications for the marlin.

If you are getting 1" groups at 100 yards with a 4X scope, you've already got your tackdriver.
Drop a 24 or 36 power scope on it, get a selection of good target ammo and I would think that .2 and .3 inch groups at 50 yards are a sure thing.

I've got high quality single shots that shoot around .4 at 50 but couldn't hold consistant 5 shot 1" groups at 100 yards - specially with a 4X scope.

Ya the rifle shoots great as is with the 4X but I soon will want to go up to 12X(I got young eyes LOL) so tighten the group up a little.

For ammo I have been using the cheap CCI Blazer 40gr its cycles great and shoots very very straight.

Try Marlin

I have a 7000T which I purchased 3 years ago. It is a 7000 with heavy bull barrel, travel adjustable trigger, laminated stock with accessory rail on forearm, and an adjustable butt plate for length extension, and to raise and lower the stock.

The rifle cost me about 2 1/2 times more than the current 7000. I think you could contact Marlin and get parts that would allow upgrade of your gun.

Bull Barrel #107419
Trigger Guard Complete #507358
Trigger Stop #407058 (might be included above)
Stock #407938
Adj. Plate #104118
Adj. Tube #104852
Buttplate #404102
(ask for all the various screws required to put this all together)
Slide Rail #207131
2 Slide Rail Screws #330790
Swivel Base and Loop #404011 & 404012

I have an 8-32 x 44 w/adj parallex scope and can drive golf balls out at 125 yards with no problem. On the indoor range at 25 yds - 50+ shots in a row into the bullseye.

This has probably been one of my best firearm purchases. Works like a darn, accurate as hell, and looks pretty hot.

Hope this helps!

Perfect thats what I wanted to know , I just need a Bull Barrell ,compasite stock and a 12X and Im set , thanks wayne
