After searching I have found very little support for the Marlin 7000 I have had for a long time.

I was looking for anything I can add to make it more fun, and reliable as well as larger cap magazines.

I have only found 10 round orginal mags for it but nothing beyond that. I also have only found monte carlo stocks for it which are nearly identical to that which I already have.

What is out there?

If I can't find something I think I may have to pick myself up another 10/22.

First-off, you need to simply send me that rifle...get it off of your mind. :) I'd love to have a 7000, doubt I'll ever find one though. I'm not aware of any aftermarket stock, but have read that the ones Boyd's makes for the 795 can be machined-out for the larger diameter barrel. Worth considering. As for high capacity mags, there is a thread on here (a recent one) asking the same question about the 795, and Hi Cal (Canadian shop) said they're the Pro-Mag distributor in Canada. Here is a link to what Pro-Mag makes for the 795, should be interchangeable with your 7000. http://www.promagindustries.com/category-s/111.htm

I may actually consider selling it. I really like it and it has been a fun rifle for plinking but I think I want something different. After playing with the 10/22 I got for my wife I think I may get another one just so we can share mags and other items. Plus I would like to build a couple different configurations of the 10/22. Dlask 9" bull barrel with CH22 reciver with an overmold stock and a SR22 with geissele trigger upgrade 9" bull barrel.

I really like the bolt lock/release on the marlin compared to the 10/22. The 10/22 (original) is clumsy at best and the marlin just seems natural for the bolt release.

I was unaware that the 795 shared mags with the 7000. Thank you.

I guess I have some thinking to do. If I do sell it I will post it in the EE.
