So I've got a Marlin 795 and a Bushnell 3-9x32mm rimfire scope that I've been trying to mount, but the scope slides back slightly with every shot because the 795's rail is so shallow that there's barely more than two millimetres of rail for the rings to grab. I've already tried loctite on the rail and rings to hold them together, but there's so little surface to work with that it didn't make much of a difference. I'm aware people here have mounted scopes on the 795, so I'm curious what solution you guys have used to secure the scope onto the rail.
