Marlin 795 is $119.94 at Bass Pro (after rebates)

I got this deal in the spring, and can vouch for it.

The blued 795 is on sale for $144.94, and then there's a mail in rebate for $25.

I bought one in the spring- they ran out of stock initially, but I did get one after a few days, and there was no problem getting the rebate check.

I really like mine! My 77/22's been a safe queen for quite some time now- but the 795, I take it out without hesitation.

I was thinking of getting a Papoose, but one of these would do. I see Triple K has 15 round magazines available for the Marlin Model 70; does anyone know if these will work in the Marlin model 795, and if so, do they take a lot of fiddling to get them to work? I have fiddled with .22 magazines before to get them to work better).

Edit: what are the receivers made of?
