My boy has a 795. I wanted to get him a Shooter's Ridge 25 round magazine. Firstly, are they available in Canada and secondly, are they roughly the same price as in the United States or perhaps double or triple the cost? If they are expensive I do not think they would be worth the purchase as they are quite brittle and flimsy if the online reviews of them are correct.

I went on shooters ridge's website and found the Canadian distribution contact info. I emailed Paul Simms for western Canada and he sent me an email stating that I'd have to request the magazine (gave me a part number) through my local dealer who would contact Paul and allow him to request the mags legitimately. I was about to make the order but heard horrible things about the mags Stateside. Maybe you can be braver than I and go through the process?

Pretty disappointing. I thought one of the big manufacturers like Butler Creek or even Marlin would step up and make a high capacity magazine for this little rifle. Even Ruger has given the people what they want.I didn't realize they were so badly made. I suppose buying more of the standard ten round mags will have to do.During Winter they can be loaded in the warmth of the house then taken out and shot without having Jack Frost nip those fingers. Thanks for the replies.

Dont bother sending emails to the canadian dist or even calling. Half a dozen emails and at least that many voice mails and they never responded to me once. I even emailed shooters ridge in the us.

I just gave up.
