So I WON myself a 795 today at a 3 gun match and am just wondering if anyone has any idea on where to get mags larger than 10 rounds for it? thanks guys. I'd like to use her next year for the 3 gun and compete in the rimfire class so larger cap mags would be perferable, however i can deal with 10 rounders. thanks for any ideas or experiences guys.

well why not? there is no mag caps on rimfire so they are legal... i know that 15 rounders do exist for them as well...

Not a popular rifle. Same goes for the cooey 64s, savage mrk2s, ect.

I also don't think the design helps either.

rimfiresports dot com has pretty good prices on 10 rnd magazines- 19.99 for p/n 407135 which fit the 795. know they're not a site supporter, but they've got good pricing and will ship to Canada at no extra charge.
 
i have a savage64 and am stuck with 10 rounders as well :(

There was a poster in the forums recently, saying he made a ~150round drum mag for a bunch of guns (savage i know, prob marlin too). The thread appears to be deleted now though. Posters name was rkwprobuilt, guessing he'll start a new thread if/when production is finished.
 
The 15rnd mags that are floating around do not work with the new 795's with mag safety and last shot hold open. As the 795's keep selling like they are I think we will see some mags and aftermarket goodies coming out.
