Greetings i am having issues getting what i need to mount a scope on this rifle
seems the store only has 100 dollar options for me ,i mean really
the rifle was 149
does anyone know of a reasonable source and options for mounting a 1 inch tube 40 mm scope on this weapon

Thanks

Sounds like you need some medium height, 1" rimfire rings. Nothing too exotic about that. 1/2 decent rings won't be free of course, but you shouldn't have to pay $100 either. Take a look on the EE here, or check a Canadian retailer with a good selection.

I've bought rings (BKL) from D&L in British Columbia. They carry rings from several manufacturers;

My scope is a $39.99 CenterPoint from Canadian Tire. Came with the rings, mounts very nicely on my Marlin 60 and keeps zero even after repeated jostling in the soft case and a few thousand rounds of ammunition.

Don't need much on them.

Is the dovetail an 11mm one? i buy all my optics mounts from China on eBay... yeah yeah yeah... people are gonna say "crap" but every single one i've purchased has been perfect.. Some Weaver stuff is made in China.... The prices are rock bottom and the quality is excellent... Only thing is it takes about 30 days to get here... Let me know if it's 11mm dovetail and i'll shoot you a ebay link to where i got mine...

Saw that 1-pc. job at Bass Pro and Le Baron recently. Around $20. I know some people have had issues with scope rings slipping and have used these with good results. (read that online) Mine are standard rings, and haven't moved.

I've got this on my Winchester/Cooey 64B, and it's rock solid... Have a Bushnell Banner 3-9x40 in the mount and hasn't lost zero or budged in over 3000 rounds...

A one-piece is what I highly recommend. The extra surface area that is clamped to your rifle will virtually eliminate any sliding that you may experience.

I got this one for my 795 for $45 shipped and couldn't be happier with it.
