Marlin 795 Stock

Hi,
is it correct that the model 795 stock has sling swivel attachments molded into the stock? If they do, how sturdy are the attachment points?

There is nothing sturdy about the marlin 795 stock or trigger guard. Heh.

They are molded as part of the stock. They are sturdy enough to put a sling on and carry it around. Don't expect to be doing pull ups or some other stupid stunt with them

Thanks for the info. I'm hoping they are strong enough to support using the hasty sling to steady my shots.

I never use a sling OR bipod on my 795, but I'm about 90% sure it has metal sling swivel studs. I can check/confirm tonight if nobody does sooner...? The Marlin XT bolt actions I've seen with synthetic stocks DO have attachment points molded in.
