marlin 795 trigger guard broken -- where to get replacement?

Just order directly from dip and get the trigger/guard combo set, they have great service.

Put a DIP on mine. My stock one broke too when I tried to tighten it. DIPs are aluminum and well made. Think it was about $70. cdn delivered.

The trigger guards are sort of crappy on these, and while I haven't cracked mine yet...I know it's a matter of time. DIP will get the nod when the time comes.

I didn't think DIP would ship to Canada. That's why a lot of people order DIP from Kinney's.

they do not ship to Canada/Internationally...if you call DIP directly they refer you to their only distributor at the moment - Kinney's Shooting Supply

they will let you pay with a Canadian CC and ship to US address...

Actually they will let you pay with a Canadian card and ship to a Canadian address. I have placed 4 or 5 prodders from there and always great service. But dip themselves does not ship directly to Canada.

Actually I screwed up. It was Kinneys not DIP.

Brownells.com is pretty good source for Marlin parts and they will ship to Canada. I have a trigger guard for my Model 60 on the way. I gotta go easier on tightening the nut. Some reviews claim the replacement was stronger than original.
