One of the .22s I'll probably buy in the next month or so, and they used to be a common sight at the local gun shop. Less so since Remington bought them...? (what the shop told me) Any CGN sponsors sell them? Any in stainless?

Thanks,
Rob

I think Cabelas. I got mine at a local gunshow from a store in my neighbourhood. That way I could screw over the government by not having to pay taxes. Hehe...and my diabolical scheme begins with buying a gun, how peculiar.

I got the blued one and ####ed the guide rod spring. Still shoots like a dream. If you are handy with tools and your hands, you can truly make it a piece of art. I won't be selling it any time soon.

I've asked around here in Regina and haven't seen anything.

Ontop of that Wholesale Sports didn't know what I was talking about, and TNT Gunworks didn't seem to really care about it either way.

I was going to buy one while the coupon is still active, but I may have to leave it now.

Whole sale sports has one, its just if you call their number is a sales person answering who only talks in item numbers. So you need the item number. I bought mine there.

I was considering buying one online from them. Will probable end up doing that anyways. I was just wanting to handle one before buying it but everything I've read about it says it should be good.

@GunGuy34:
Nice pics! How has the rifle been treating you? Looks brand new.

I only shot 30 rounds through it lol. It seemed to be a great gun for me. If I had my time back I would have got a Ruger 10/22 so i could get the high capacity mags. The Marlin is a fine hunting gun. I wouldnt mind selling it local, but dont want the hastle of shipping it.

cabelas.ca has free shiipping- some posters say rifles too- if you enter the code holiday.

i think there's a $35 rebate on the blued for purchases this year- check marlin website.

cabelas also has good prices on extra mags.
