Hello,
I just purchased 917VTS. Nice, sharp looking rifle that came with two mags. Right off the bat as I took it to the range, it seems that the wobbly and loosely locked mags sit too lot to chamber the rounds. I have to push the mag from below and only then it chambers the rounds fine. That is not the solution, me thinks. Perhaps there is a factory defect that I am not aware of. I did a search here but I did not fine anything that could help me. I went to a local outdoors store and purchased two more after market mags to find out if the problem is the mags that came with the rifle or the rifle itself. Both new mags have the same problem, I need to push them from below to chamber the round.
So my question is: is this a refile issue that can be fixed easily enough? Or should I send it back to Marlin
