Wondering if my Marlin 925 is supposed to be freefloated, or supported along the first few inches of barrel..
Reason being I had a similar Marlin 917V which was very obviously freefloated, I could slide a bill easily between barrel and stock; but this 925 I cannot- and before I begin sanding etc I hope someone can comment on this..
