Greetings fellow plinkers,

Just got one of these Marlin's thrown in on a trade that a fellow wanted to offload. Seems a little hunted, but for the most part good overall.

Not having much luck googling it... it's saying it's cross referenced to another Marlin, possibly a 650?

Can anyone fill me in on the scoop on these? Reliable? They shooters or what? Secrets? etc...:sniper:

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers!
Ken

It is the same as the old model 60 i believe, except it has a wierd one piece band that acts as the front sight and magazine tube band, similar to the base model henry lever action.

Excellent action design, and marlins have great barrels. No tricks though that i know of. They are usually very reliable and accurate guns... the 60 that is.
