I've got an older 1895G with a 18.5" ported barrel. After years of shooting with the original sights, I'm ready for an upgrade. The gun is mostly used for CQB in northern Ontario. Quarry includes Whitetail deer, Moose, and Black Bear in heavy cover, so I'm thinking a peep sight is in order. What are my options? Who makes a great aperture sight for GuideGuns?

i would recommend, Williams #5d-336 peep rear sight($40) and fibre optic front sight($10), the Williams screws into the scope base holes, and the aperture is removeable, leaving you with a ghost ring sight. this is all the money you need to spend for a top notch rig.

Willams Gun Site 336FP. Call Western Gun Parts in Edmonton. You'll be happy.

Use the aperture for hunting/target, remove the aperture and it's a ghost ring.
