But at least I can shoot a 21/2" 4-10 shell out of my guide gun. Well, I do use mine quite a bit and I made mine into a takedown model. And yes recoil can be stiff with full loads. As for ranges I do practice to 200y and have found most (90%) of the animals I have shoot under this range. I do enjoy it for moose hunting when I can get a few chickens while hunting and it is light to carry also.
