Just got given a "partial" Marlin MOD43 12ga. shotgun. It seems to be missing part of the action- including any "side plate or cover" that once may have been in place. Also absent is the tube magazine (and pump handle if that is considered a separate piece)- sorry, but I know absolutely nothing about shotguns. As this piece was a gift I am not going to sell it and would like to put it back into working order. Are parts for these guns readily available? Are these old shotguns worth much money? Any help and info is appreciated. I am in the lower mainland.
Also given to me was a double barrell from a shotgun made by the Pieper Arms Co. Does that name mean anything to anyone? On one of the barrels it says "MODIFIED DIANA"
