Anyone ever had one of this single shot Marlin rimfires in their possession?

Just received one and it's a cool little cucumber.
Even has the Marlin Eye Bawl in the rear stock.

Hopefully I'll get to take it out shortly.

The open sights seems to find the eyes pretty naturally.
Had some kibbles'n bits to mount the scope on it and I'm going to try this out.
Trigger is decent at three pounds.

I suppose this is Marlin's replica of the Cooey 39?
I sure wouldn't trade this for one.
Just a slick old single shot with the goodies one desires.......at least me anyways.

I was curious, it looked like someone glued a smaller front sight to a chunk of steel to raise it up.

Went out yesterday up the hill.
Took the latest two.
Shot off the hood, so nothing fancy for rests.
Both actions worked well.
Had two misfires.
One with each.
American Eagle chit which surprised me.
Figured it was decent ammo.

Rechambered into the Model 100 and both went ker-pow.
Scope is a 2-7 Revenge.
It tracks well and has a wider multi x redicule.
Nice scope for clarity too.

Pattern nothing to brag about, but I'm confident shooting off a proper bench would \
tighten up the group considerably.

When oh when are they going to rebuild our range...............
