Just dipping into the knowledge pool to determine what this one may be worth. Made in 1902 currently sitting at an antique dealership on the wall. Asking $1100 US. Don't know anymore about it. Will see it next week. Get feeling price may be negotiable.
 
Not a whole lot of information to go by. Marlin 1893 rifles aren't particularly rare though nice rifles. Condition is the main thing plus any special order features and even calibre. If it is in the U.S., probably not worth the extra fees as it is not an antique and you would have to go through a Canadian dealer with a U.S. federal firearms license.

I have a supposedly 1902 1893 32 HPS ,I am told all Marlin records were lost in fire. It is impossible to tell when the guns were made my serial number starts with 41 ,,,,according to those in the "KNOW" Apparently the era between 1900 and 1911 has much mystery I will love to know the first 2 digits of that rifle

Prophet River Firearms will get it in for you with total fees somewhere around $320 bucks extra ,,,but you will get that gun in 6-8-9 weeks
 
Thanks for the input guys. Supposedly it is antique in the US so no restriction on a Canadian buying it, so I'm told. It would stay on the wall at my brothers place in the US if we get it.
 
I owned several Marlin 1893s, and found that this model, more so than any other that has passed through my hands, seemed to attract Bubba The Home Gunsmith. None of them had all original parts in them; two had nails for firing pins.

I would not be paying $1100 for a wall-hanger, no matter where it was going to end up. There are lots of nice old lever guns that can be had for MUCH less money and look every bit as pretty hanging over a mantle.
