I didn' t know that this marlin came in semi auto untill I saw Jurrasic World last night. I always thought it was a lever gun.

In any case the 45-70 was no good against dinosaurs.

That's only in the U.S. In Canada, lever-actions that fire in semi-auto mode are classified as prohibited by Order In Council.

Goodness! Now the dippers and liebrals will be banning another non-existent firearm. A high caliber, automatic lever machine gun with the shoulder thing that goes up. It will also be equipped with a .30 caliber magazine and is capable of 30 rounds in a half a second.

Not really... I feed mine from the belt.Fifteen .45 loops and as a bonus, holding my pants up. Cadence is about 5 rds./minute

That's more like it, I second that motion.
Why fret and freak about bears when a T-Rex just gobbled up your buddy. I wonder if bear spray would be of any use?

I saw the movie tonight...meh...just another Jurassic Park movie...Dinos escape...people in danger...blah blah blah...

But, as the last post said, I saw Pratt cycling that action. I know I can cycle my Marlin that fast...

Not sure how the guy on the mini-gun missed the 50' Dino, though...not exactly a slow gun...or a fast Dino! Ah well, another silly kids movie.

If used on a bear it would ruin the hide with at least one and possibly a larger hole if the slug went all the way through. In my years of shooting, I found the old Sheridan .20 air rifle with 30 pumps did a great job on bears, a nice hide for a bear skin rug. Alas, the Sheridan is no more. Find a .22 cal, break action with a scope on it.

Just finished converting B1885 to full auto. It works great!!!!!!!!! Everyone should own one.
