Hi all, not sure if the is the right spot but due to the age of this shotgun I thought I'd start here. I picked up this shotgun over 10 years ago. I have put about 5-10 shells through it and it works fine and cycles like it should. It just sits in the safe and I was doing some organizing between my safes today and my boy asked me about this shotgun, I didn't really have any information to tell him other than I figured it was from the early 1900's. I'm sure some folks on here are familiar with these and might be able to provide some info. I have done the Google thing and ran the serial number on a Marlin site and it said the shotgun was made in 1894 which is wrong because there are patent dates later than that on the firearm. Any information would be appreciated. Serial number is 132614 and is marked "Marlin Model No 19-S on the trigger guard. Barrel has matching serial numbers.
