My dad has a Marlin model 56, lever action with a clip, when he was a kid he said that he used to dry fire the empty rifle when finished with it. Now it dry fires, when you try shoot a live round through it, you can recock it and try it again, sometimes it fires.
Does anyone have any experience on this one, that would be a start to getting this fixed.
