I just picked up a Marlin Model 60.

Use open sights on my other 22's but this has to be one of the toughest guns I have ever tried to get a bead on with. Age may have something to do with it.

For me this is one rifle I am going to put a scope on.

Has anyone used a one piece lock down scope mount?

Will this work?? http://www.airgunsource.com/rws-one-piece-lock-down-scope-mount-30mm/dp/307

Thanks for your help.

I used a one piece mount when i had a marlin. It was a no name model and it worked really well.
The Rws mount may be too long for the rail on the receiver though. Also the RWS mount has droop compensation which you may not need. It is a very nice mount for the money though.

I drilled and tapped my receiver for a 1pc picatiny rail. It was a weaver rail about 4" long that I bought at wholesale. A little filing and it sort of dovetailed onto the receiver grooves making line up easy. The one piece mounts work as well, but make getting the height right a pain sometimes. I wanted to try a red dot too.
