Marlin Model 60 SS....Ducks Unlimted edition..info?

I have got my hands on a Marlin model 60 SS that a Ducks Unlimted Edtion. It has a grey laminated stock with the DU logo embedded in the side of the stock and DU Edition stamped on the barrel with the make and model. I've contacted DU in the US and they've never heard of that model being a DU edition gun only a blued/walnut one. They said maybe it's a Canadian version. Has anyone ever seen or know anything about this gun. I think it was built in 1994 going by the serial number, 06*****. I'm trying find out if that is right and how many of them were made.

Neat. I would love a grey laminate/SS marlin. My dad won a Ducks Unlimited 880 and gave it to me for my first rifle. If you find a source of information about DU guns, could you post it here?

I contacted DU in both the Canada and the US to finally come up with some info. Turns out it's a 1 of 500 series made back in 1994.
